Job Description
Electronics Engineers at Lunar are responsible for the full product development lifecycle of power electronics systems that recast day-to-day energy use in homes and on the go. An ideal candidate is enthusiastic and ready to collaborate with a dedicated, cross-functional team to create innovative, best-in-class products starting with home energy storage systems. Engineers at Lunar are hands-on comfortable with both simulation and real hardware, and able to carry product development from concept stage through high-volume production. Any given day at Lunar you may... Create the best possible products by contributing to product level features, design, and vision by leveraging your experience and creativity Detail-level design of numerous tester interface boards ranging from IOT devices , power electronic systems, DC/DC converters,and inverters. Bring up and testing of systems to validate functionality, optimize performance, and evaluate critical characteristics Collaborate to create efficient test and validation mechanisms for the individual PCBAs as well as the complete system and support of the development of custom test cards and apparatus Work with the ME cross functional team on a bed of nails fixture. Work across functions such as mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware engineering to optimize the product Start-to-finish ownership of the electrical aspect of the system from design through prototype, validation and manufacturing Good debugging and troubleshooting skills down to the component level.
