This in-office, full-time role involves designing, developing, and optimizing power systems.
Senior Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical designs for switchgear and switchboards tailored to customer requirements. Create comprehensive schematics, layouts, and elevations to ensure proper power distribution and control functionalities. Select and specify electrical components like circuit breakers, relays, and transformers based on project needs and standards. Serve as the technical lead during manufacturing and testing, ensuring system performance aligns with design specifications. Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and customer teams, supporting troubleshooting, system verification, and technical proposals.
Senior Electrical Engineer Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related fields. Proven expertise in electrical standards such as UL, NEC, ANSI, and IEEE. Proficiency with electrical design software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or EPLAN. Demonstrated ability to develop and review complex electrical system designs and conduct risk assessments. Experience with high-reliability electrical assemblies, automation, or test systems is preferred.
