Full Job Description Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving all electrical systems within our dietary supplement manufacturing facility. This includes production equipment such as sachet filling machines, capsule filling machines, mixers, air compressors, and facility wide electrical infrastructure. Must be able to evaluate electrical load capacity, verify sufficient power availability and support safe installation of new machinery.Responsibilities:
Performs inspections, repairs, and maintenance of production equipment (sachet filling machine, capsule filling machine, soft gel machine, blister machine, pellet machine)in addition to routine skilled maintenance duties within electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, or plumbing. Conduct electrical load analysis to determine whether sufficient power is available for new equipment installations. Review machine spec sheets, voltage requirements, amperage draw, and phase requirements before installation. Coordinate with contractors or electricians when panel upgrades or new circuits are required. Perform routine inspections of facility electrical systems, including panels, breakers, wiring, and grounding. Maintain and update electrical schematics, equipment wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs. Diagnose and resolve issues related to motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, relays, and control panels. Support equipment commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance programs.Ad Hoc Tasks Qualifications:
3 - 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Experience in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing preferred Technical certification in electrical or industrial maintenance Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work around machinery safely Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and GMP standardsJob Type:
