This facility serves as the primary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and integration center, where teams design and develop next generation motor controllers, embedded electronic systems, and rugged motion control technologies.
We deliver advanced solutions across space exploration, aerospace, defense, robotics, aviation, industrial automation, automotive, and agricultural technology markets. At the Simi Valley location, engineers focus on servo drives, actuators, sensors, batteries, and embedded hardware platforms designed for extreme operating environments.
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of advanced motor control electronics and embedded hardware systems powering mission critical aerospace, defense, and space programs.
What You Will Be DoingHardware Architecture:
Lead design, analysis, and integration of microcontroller based analog and digital systems for motion control
Product Lifecycle:
Drive hardware architecture, definition, component selection, and system level design from concept through release
Power Electronics:
Develop and validate motor control systems using IGBTs, MOSFETs, drivers, and current sensing technologies
Collaboration:
Partner with customers, software engineers, manufacturing teams, and program leadership to deliver solutions
Leadership:
Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous engineering improvementsWhat You Need for This PositionBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Embedded Systems:
Significant experience designing complex embedded electronic systems
Circuit Expertise:
Strong background in analog/digital design, microcontrollers, power electronics, and motor control systems
Tools:
Proficiency with ORCAD schematic capture, PSpice simulation, FPGA integration, and high speed signal processing
Preferred Skills:
Experience with embedded
C/C++, TCP/IP
