Job Description

Electrical Engineer P.E.We are seeking an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer P.E. to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with a Florida P.E. license and a strong background in electrical design for residential and commercial buildings, including high-rise projects. Candidates must have experience working for MEP engineering firms in the U.S.Key Requirements10+ years of electrical engineering/design experienceActive Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseExperience working for MEP engineering firmsStrong experience with residential and commercial building projectsHigh-rise building design experience requiredAdvanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD/CADStrong understanding of electrical engineering design, codes, and standardsSpanish bilingual skills preferredResponsibilitiesLead electrical engineering and design for residential and commercial building projectsDevelop electrical plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documentsManage multiple projects while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely deliveryCoordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and clientsReview designs and provide technical guidance to project teamsMaintain strong client relationships and respond effectively to project needsMentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineering staffEnsure projects are completed on time or ahead of schedule and meet quality standardsLeadership OpportunityThis is a leadership-track position for an experienced engineer with the potential to become the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department within approximately one year.
