This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex mechanical operations, ensure optimal performance of manufacturing and facilities equipment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. As a key leader, you will manage maintenance activities, supervise technical staff, and coordinate projects to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a proactive maintenance culture that aligns with organizational goals. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the mechanical maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of workmanship. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical systems including HVAC, low voltage electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and industrial machinery. Manage the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and maintenance schedules effectively. Develop and implement maintenance strategies that optimize equipment uptime while minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting and repairs. Review technical schematics, electrical diagrams, and system schematics to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective repair solutions. Coordinate projects involving system upgrades or installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines. Maintain compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices while promoting a safety-first culture across teams. Requirements Mechanical HVAC license Proven management experience leading maintenance or engineering teams within manufacturing or industrial facilities. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, schematic interpretation, HVAC systems, electrical experience (including low voltage and high voltage), and industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting. Strong understanding of facilities management principles, including CMMS utilization, project management skills, and maintenance management strategies. Supervising experience with a focus on leadership development and team motivation in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for electrical wiring or mechanical components.
