This role is highly hands-on and technical, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, maintenance support, technician development, and machine reliability. The ideal candidate will have an electro-mechanical background, strong PLC and controls experience, and the ability to mentor and lead maintenance technicians and junior-level engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide electrical and automation engineering support to the Mixing and Prep maintenance teams. Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to maintenance electricians and production supervision. Train and develop maintenance wage electricians and technicians. Troubleshoot PLCs, electrical systems, motors, VFDs, motion-control systems, HMIs, and other automated equipment. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Support development and implementation of maintenance systems, standards, and best practices. Implement the direction of maintenance leadership while working independently on shift. Interpret electrical drawings, machine designs, and controls documentation. Red-line drawings and assist with electrical/controls design modifications. Interface with internal engineering and technical support groups to accomplish maintenance and reliability objectives. Provide technical direction and engineering management support when needed. Mentor technicians and junior-level engineers and help elevate the technical competency of the night-shift maintenance team. Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience. Approximately 2-4 years of engineering experience preferred. Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting background. Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, VFDs, electrical controls, and automated equipment. Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, programming standards, and programming software.

Maintenance leadership or Maintenance Manager experience. Experience mentoring technicians, electricians, or junior engineers.
