Electrical Controls Engineer responsible for industrial controls design, PLC programming, VFD configuration, HMI development, and electrical system support in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or associate degree with 5+ years of industrial manufacturing experience. Experience with PLC logic design and troubleshooting. Advanced knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems. Experience programming and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) across multiple manufacturers. Experience designing and programming Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) across multiple platforms. Knowledge of industrial power distribution systems. Knowledge of electrical codes and industrial electrical standards. Experience with circuit design and modification. Experience supporting plant engineering and maintenance operations. Experience with automated controls design. Experience developing electrical schematics, panel designs, equipment layouts, and design calculations. Preferred Skills Experience with magnet wire production equipment. Experience working with outside fabrication or service shops and equipment suppliers. Experience with RSLogix 500. Experience with RSLogix 5000. Experience with Studio 5000. Experience with FactoryTalk View Machine Edition. Experience with EZ Series HMI systems. Experience with C-More HMI systems. Experience with Siemens Step 7. Experience with AutoCAD. Job Responsibilities Design, modify, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control systems. Develop and modify PLC logic, primarily using Allen-Bradley platforms. Program, configure, and troubleshoot VFD controls across multiple manufacturers. Design, program, and maintain HMI applications. Prepare electrical design calculations and technical documentation. Develop electrical schematics, panel designs, and equipment layouts. Design and support automated control systems. Collect and analyze equipment and process data. Generate engineering reports and technical documentation. Support plant engineering and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related manufacturing equipment issues. Support industrial power distribution systems and electrical code compliance.
