Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Controls Engineer to provide technical support, system development, and root-cause troubleshooting for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. If you thrive on solving complex electrical, programming, and mechanical challenges while designing the next generation of control systems, this role offers the stability, autonomy, and technical depth you are looking for. What You Will Do Own PLC programming using either Allen Bradley or Siemens alongside
HMI/SCADA
integration via WinCC or TIA. Develop advanced electrical engineering control designs and create precise electrical/control-wiring schematics in AutoCAD. Manage industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Industrial Ethernet) and apply motor control principles using variable speed drives.
Troubleshooting:
Assist maintenance teams in diagnosing complex machinery issues, determining root causes, and creating clear functional troubleshooting documents. Maintain plant-wide layouts, AutoCAD plans, PFDs, and P&IDs while drafting technical PLC training manuals for the wider team. What You Bring Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automated Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience successfully delivering automation projects within a manufacturing environment or for a system integrator. Deep technical expertise in eithr Rockwell or Siemens automation platforms. A strong grasp of machine control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, water systems, and general variable speed drives.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
