Lenexa, KS Life Sciences Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO. Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry. Life Sciences offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers. What You'll Do:
Preparing construction documents for various systems Review of shop drawings and RFI's Verification of permitting and code requirements Facility evaluations and engineering studies Trouble shooting and commissioning Other fun duties as assigned!
What You'll Bring:
Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred 2.7 GPA strongly preferred Finished at least two years of school Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization Strong communication skills, both oral and written Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Join Our Team If you're a motivated engineering student who takes pride in contributing to safe, high-quality projects, we'd love to hear from you.
