Job Description
Bring your electrical expertise to a growing design and manufacturing environment where custom industrial equipment turns engineering concepts into real-world applications. In this Electrical Engineer opportunity in the Greater New Orleans area, you'll perform hands-on electrical design, troubleshooting, and commissioning alongside a collaborative engineering and automation team. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include: 3+ years of relevant industrial electrical engineering experience Hands-on electrical design and troubleshooting experience with industrial control systems Ability to read and develop electrical schematics, with strong control-panel wiring problem-solving skills Proficiency with AutoCAD, ideally AutoCAD Electrical Experience with motor-control systems, industrial instrumentation, and VFDs Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networking; PLC programming is not required Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable industrial electrical standards Willingness to work on-site five days per week, including regular time on the manufacturing floor and in equipment-testing environments
