RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Duties:
Work with the design team to ensure that established project deadlines and budgets are met. Ensure a high quality of work and make sure all direction has been followed and coordinated throughout the project documents.
Primary Duties:
Maintain a NCEES Record and electrical Professional Engineering registration in the states where MMT does business, currently MA, NH, CT, and RI. Perform field surveys of existing conditions. Draft investigative surveys and feasibility reports for electrical scope of work. Conceptualize, design, and oversee construction of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, communications, security and fire alarm systems. Create detailed Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications. Perform load calculations. MMT uses Bentley Systems EasyPower. Develop construction cost estimates. Coordinate design with other disciplines including architectural and civil, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection engineers. Working with the Project Manager to provide construction administration services for electrical work
Secondary Duties:
Working with the Sr. Electrical Engineer and drafters to update and maintain the electrical CAD detail library. Coordinate with the Office Manager and Sr. Electrical Engineer to ensure that MMT has the latest design resources, such as codes, reference materials and codes. SKILLS Practical Experience in Autocad or Revit
