We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer I who is eager to learn and expand on foundational engineering practices in a growing and entrepreneurial company.
Primary Purpose:
The Electrical Engineer I supports the design, analysis, and documentation of electrical components and systems under the guidance of more senior engineers. This is an entry-level role with limited scope and close management, focused on learning foundational engineering practices while contributing to schematic and PCB layout, basic analysis, and prototype support. This position supports the activities of both engineering and some production/manufacturing. Duties /
Responsibilities:
Create and modify schematics, PCB layouts, and detail drawings using Altium Designer under the direction of senior engineers. Assist with component selection and basic engineering analysis (e.g., circuit simulation, basic power and thermal analysis) for electrical components. Support the build, testing, and evaluation of prototypes and marketing samples. Maintain, update, and correct existing engineering data, drawings, and documentation. Assist in identifying and troubleshooting basic circuit design and manufacturability issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills /

Hands-on experience and/or strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB fabrication, and electronic assembly processes. Ability to check schematics and PCB layouts ensuring circuits are fully defined and will fit and function properly with associated systems. Understanding of product development cycle, from concept to market. 0-2 years of experience in an electrical engineering, new product development, or sustaining engineering role. A demonstrated high level of electrical and circuit intuition.
Interpersonal:
Strong analytical skills balanced with creativity and innovation. Strong communicator, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment of constant change. Self-directed individual who works well within a team environment.
Preferred:
Exposure to Altium Designer or similar PCB design/schematic capture software. Basic understanding of circuit theory, power electronics fundamentals, and electronics manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn from senior engineering staff. Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline problem-solving and workflow tasks is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
