Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr Controls Engineer for a large Automotive OEM. The controls engineer will be responsible for working at their suppler to ensure the supply is successful. This includes reviewing system design work, the debugging process and reporting the status back to the OEM. You would specifically be working on AMRs for general assembly.
Additional Responsibilities could include:
New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff) Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts Manage deliveries to program timing milestones Provide project report outs to senior management Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.) Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers/plants Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers. Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology
Compensation Starting At:
$30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
