Experienced Controls Engineer
Job Description
Knowledge And Experience Experienced Controls Engineer:
PLC Programming & Motion Control (Experience writing code from scratch, testing, and troubleshooting control code, with knowledge of PLCs, servos, machine motion, and timing.) Controls/Electrical Systems Knowledge (Strong understanding of electrical components, control systems, machine automation, and troubleshooting equipment in both the shop and field.) Project Leadership & Customer Support (Ability to lead projects independently, support machine commissioning and startups, communicate with customers, and provide training and technical support.) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics-related field plus 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Experience or training with PC's servos, and PLC's Previous experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley products preferred Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, which may include any day of the week. Additional compensation for road pay
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
