Job Description

The Greer Group has a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Test & Measurement Engineer in the Asheville area! This is a high-impact role where you'll work with advanced testing equipment, support new product development, and play a key role in bringing innovative products to life. What You'll Do Test and validate electrical performance of products (DC & high-frequency) Work with advanced lab equipment like vector network analyzers Automate testing processes through software development Support new product launches from prototype to full production Analyze test data and determine product performance standards Design and develop test fixtures, adapters, and PCB layouts Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams Help solve real-world engineering challenges that impact production and customers What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related) OR equivalent hands-on experience in test & measurement Experience with lab testing equipment and electrical measurements Programming experience (Matlab is a plus) Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documents Team-oriented with strong communication skills Why This Role Stands Out Hands-on engineering role (not just behind a desk) Work with advanced technology and testing systems Be directly involved in new product development High visibility role with real impact on production and innovation Opportunity to grow your technical skills and career Work Environment Mix of lab, production floor, and desk work Active role with standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs) Fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment If you enjoy building, testing, and improving real products — this is the role for you.
