Position Summary:
Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern who will support the assigned design department by assisting with a variety of tasks, including special project assignments and active participation in project design and documentation, to gain practical experience and support their educational development. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g.
H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT
) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Assist senior or lead (architects, engineers, interior designers, project managers) with basic design tasks, including research, simple studies, and layout support Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, graphics, design development, and construction phases Support the creation of presentation and marketing materials Assist with construction phase activities, including participating in site visits, supporting RFI responses, reviewing shop drawings, and helping update record drawings Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members Receive guidance and direction from supervisors and team leaders Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned
