  • $151,800 annually About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ.
This leadership-level position is ideal for an engineer with 5-15 years of experience in electrical design and project management, particularly within commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational facilities. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on complex projects, manage electrical project components, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers and designers. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the design of electrical systems for large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational projects. Design and evaluate power distribution, grounding, lighting, controls, fire alarm systems, and electrical equipment . Serve as Project Manager for electrical components of multidisciplinary projects, managing schedules, budgets, client communication, and team coordination. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. Analyze complex electrical engineering challenges and develop effective solutions. Coordinate with architects, civil and MEP engineers, project managers, and clients. Ensure designs comply with
NEC, IBC, IECC, NFPA
, and other applicable codes and standards. Perform quality control reviews of electrical drawings and specifications. Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed. Support department growth and contribute to high-quality project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline required. Approximately 5-15 years of electrical engineering and design experience . Experience with power distribution, lighting, grounding, controls, and fire alarm systems . Experience with electrical project management is strongly preferred. PE license required or ability to pursue one. Strong understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards. Excellent verbal, written, communication, and management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel . Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
