Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join a growing team developing advanced space-qualified electronics and hardware solutions for mission-critical programs operating across GEO, MEO, LEO, and Cislunar environments. This role will support the design, development, integration, and testing of highly reliable electronic systems used in laser communications, sensing technologies, and advanced space electronics. Engineers will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet demanding technical, schedule, reliability, and budget requirements.   • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience designing, analyzing, integrating, and testing custom electronic hardware
  • Strong experience with high-speed digital design
  • Experience designing systems utilizing ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communication interfaces
  • Analog circuit design and analysis experience
  • Experience using electrical design and simulation tools including:
  • Altium
  • SPICE
  • MATLAB
  • Simulink
  • HyperLynx
  • Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform circuit analysis and simulation to improve performance and reliability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience designing custom electronics for space applications
  • Understanding of space qualification standards and requirements
  • Experience with electrical stress analysis, worst-case circuit analysis, and reliability analysis
  • PCB layout experience
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Understanding of IPC standards for electrical design and fabrication
  • Experience developing and conducting testing of complex electronic assemblies
  • Experience designing Special Test Equipment (STE)
  • Experience deriving subsystem requirements from higher-level system requirements
  • Experience developing verification and design documentation (ICDs, DDDs, Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports)
