Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead our engineering and maintenance operations across manufacturing and facilities environments. This pivotal role involves overseeing complex industrial systems, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal performance of all mechanical, electrical, and automation components. As a Chief Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold safety standards, and ensure the seamless operation of high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining manufacturing efficiency, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of excellence within our technical teams. Responsibilities Lead and supervise engineering teams responsible for maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial equipment and facilities. Develop and execute maintenance management strategies utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize asset reliability. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and industrial automation enhancements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while promoting a safety-first culture. Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues proactively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce downtime. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising multidisciplinary technical teams in industrial settings. Proficiency in using software for maintenance scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, HVAC systems, and facilities management. Excellent project management abilities with a focus on planning, executing, and completing engineering projects on time and within budget. Fluency in English with clear communication skills for team leadership and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with industrial safety standards related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and general facilities management. Practical knowledge of low voltage wiring techniques, ohmmeters for circuit testing, and troubleshooting industrial automation components. Demonstrated leadership in supervising maintenance activities within manufacturing environments while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
