Electrical Test Design EngineerMust Have:
Electronic Component Engineering. This person should be an expert at working with individual electronic parts (chips, resistors, capacitors, connectors, sensors, etc.) that go onto a circuit board. Specifically, Reading & interpreting datasheets, Component lifecycle management and Component selection & qualificationProficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence OrCAD, or equivalent)Experience with CAD/3D modeling tools for electromechanical designStrong understanding of electronic component specifications, datasheets, and lifecycle managementFamiliarity with firmware/hardware integration and embedded systemsUnderstanding of quality tools: 8D, FMEA, fishbone diagrams, 5-Why analysisFamiliarity with IPC standards (IPC-2221/2222, IPC-A-610, IPC-7351, IPC

)for PCB design and manufacturingExperience with PLM/PDM systems and formal change management processesExperience with DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacturing/Test) principles Requirements -Electrical Design Engineer Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience Hands on experience with board level testing and system validation Experience using schematic/layout tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or Mentor Xpedition (Mentor Xpedition preferred Strong documentation and reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Comfortable working extensively in a lab environment NIT01
Pay:
$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
