Overview:
The Sr. Electrical Engineer leads project teams in the execution of mid-to-large scale electrical engineering projects. This role is responsible for overseeing design reviews, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high-quality project delivery while maintaining effective communication with internal teams, management, and clients.
Job Duties:
Leads projects and project team in the execution of several mid-to-large scale projects Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members Performs Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED Resolves design questions and technical concerns Provides excellent client/customer service
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience with Distribution Design (experience preferred) Knowledge of industry codes and standards Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management team Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (Preferred) Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (Preferred) Knowledge of PPL Electric Utilities standards and distribution design practices (Preferred) Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Willingness to comply with pre-employment screenings, including drug testing, reference verification, education and employment verification, and background screening Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
