This role is a good fit for an engineer who has solid building systems design experience and is ready to take on more project ownership, client interaction, and team coordination. You will support electrical projects from early design through construction while working with senior leadership, clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines. Why Join Us Clear path toward senior project management and leadership Exposure to a range of commercial and institutional projects Direct client and project management experience Collaborative multidisciplinary team Professional development and PE support Opportunity to mentor junior engineers and designers Responsibilities Manage electrical engineering tasks and smaller to mid-sized projects Support project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans Design electrical building systems, including: Power distribution Lighting and lighting controls Emergency and standby power Fire alarm systems Low-voltage and specialty systems Prepare and review construction documents Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams Communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders Review submittals and respond to RFIs Perform site surveys and construction observations Assist with proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations Guide junior engineers and designers on technical tasks Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 4+ years of electrical building systems design experience Experience working in an MEP consulting environment preferred Experience managing project tasks, schedules, or smaller projects Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, energy codes, and construction practices Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines EIT preferred PE license is a plus, but not required Preferred Experience Commercial, healthcare, higher education, laboratory, mission critical, mixed-use, or institutional projects Client-facing or proposal experience Mentoring junior staff Sustainable or energy-efficient electrical system design Software Revit MEP AutoCAD Bluebeam Revu Microsoft Office SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, AGi32, Visual Lighting, or similar software is a plus #
