We specialize in delivering smart, efficient, and code-compliant MEP designs for a wide range of projects, including multifamily housing, custom residential, commercial tenant improvements, dental and medical offices, and educational facilities. As a firm that values collaboration and technical excellence, we are looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer or Designer to our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer / Designer who can develop power and lighting systems from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing load calculations, sizing services and feeders, preparing construction documents, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design power distribution and lighting systems in accordance with applicable codes and client requirements. Perform electrical load calculations, panel schedules, feeder and conduit sizing, and short circuit and voltage drop analysis. Develop construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit. Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and other teams to ensure interdisciplinary alignment. Communicate with clients, architects, contractors, utility providers, and code officials as needed. Support site visits, field surveys, and construction administration activities. Maintain organized documentation and participate in QA/QC reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) OR equivalent field experience. 0 to 4 years of MEP or electrical design experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit and Bluebeam experience is a plus. Strong understanding of the NEC, IECC, and NFPA requirements; experience in Colorado or surrounding states a plus. Familiarity with lighting design and photometric analysis is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. EIT certification or PE license a plus but not required. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
