Job Description

Electrical Engineer 3-6 Month Temp-to-Perm Contract $60-$90/hr New Haven, Connecticut Fully Remote | Travel to site twice a month (per diem)
Core Hours:
10am-3pm (Flexible Outside Core Hours) Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a remote based, technically challenging, immediately available contract where you can work on cutting-edge technology, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? Join a specialist engineering consultancy trusted by leading technology companies to tackle their most complex electronic/electrical design challenges. You'll contribute to innovative product development across biomedical electronics, scientific instrumentation, defence, power conversion and next-generation technologies. Working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems, supporting projects from concept through to delivery while working on a diverse range of technically demanding programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to work on genuinely varied, high-profile projects, enjoy the flexibility of a remote working model with per diem available, and join a business where you'll have the chance to transition into a permanent role. The Role
  • Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronic hardware
  • Develop high-speed digital and power electronic circuits
  • Support FPGA development and PCB design activities
  • Produce schematics, BOMs and engineering documentation
  • Fully remote with travel to my clients site twice a month - per diem available The Person
  • Proficient with Altium
  • SPICE and/or MathWorks experience is advantageous
  • Strong analogue and digital circuit design background
  • Experience with FPGA, power electronics or embedded hardware
