Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
This position is based in Greenville, SC and will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of process equipment and components. Candidates must have extensive process controls experience with demonstrated project management skills. Position could require some domestic and international travel working on projects relating to the development, testing and evaluation of Industrial equipment for production facilities.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, program, troubleshoot, test and start-up both PLC and Industrial Control systems (Allen Bradley, Omron).
- Demonstrate working knowledge in
C/C++, C
# programming.- Troubleshooting of PLC's and industrial controls and pneumatic controls.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of HMI software (Factory Talk Studio).
- Utilize experience with FANUC robot systems
- Demonstrate experience with machine Vision Systems
- Design and specify equipment for machine upgrades.
- Create process manuals, draw up schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrate electrical and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
- Utilized Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point and Excel), AutoCAD, and related software.
- Demonstrate Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
REQUIREMENTS
B achelor's Degree Required, BS degree in Controls Engineering Preferred, with + 5 years of applicable experience. Must be able to design, program, troubleshoot, test and start-up both PLC and Industrial Control systems (Allen Bradley, Omron). Good working knowledge inC/C++, C
# programming. Must have excellent working knowledge and troubleshooting of PLC's and industrial controls and pneumatic controls. Good working knowledge of HMI software (Factory Talk Studio). Must have some experience with FANUC robot systems Prefer experience with machine Vision SystemsMust have experience in Safety related control systems (ISO 13849). Must be able to design and specify equipment for machine upgrade. Must be able to create process manuals, draw up schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly and troubleshootingMust have strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point and Excel), AutoCAD, and related software.
