Job Description

Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a Control Engineer to join their team. As a Control Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Columbia, Tennessee What's the Job? Design, validate, commission, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated food processing lines and equipment. Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, IO lists, and P&ID diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical. Program PLCs using Rockwell CompactLogix and develop HMI interfaces with PanelView. Verify and validate safety circuits and program safety PLCs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, safety, and efficiency. What's Needed? At least 3 years of experience in product development within a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, methodologies, and processes. Proficiency in electrical schematics, Ladder logic programming, and AutoCAD Electrical. Experience with automated machinery design, manufacturing, and control systems. Excellent technical writing, documentation skills, and ability to analyze complex data.
