This role is vital in ensuring the seamless functioning of building systems, machinery, and infrastructure, contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable work environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial maintenance, facilities management, and technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance projects, supervise teams, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational performance. Duties Manage and coordinate comprehensive maintenance activities for commercial facilities, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Supervise maintenance teams and contractors, providing leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to ensure high standards of safety and quality. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to optimize equipment uptime and lifespan. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults effectively. Oversee the installation, repair, and calibration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while maintaining documentation for audits and inspections. Collaborate with project management teams to plan upgrades or new installations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset histories, and work orders through CMMS platforms for transparency and continuous improvement. Experience Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance roles with a focus on commercial or manufacturing environments. Extensive electrical experience including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment, HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and schematics interpretation. Demonstrated supervising experience leading maintenance teams or contractors in fast-paced settings. Proficiency with CMMS software for scheduling, tracking work orders, and managing maintenance data effectively. Knowledge of industrial automation systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Experience working with manufacturing facilities or large-scale commercial buildings is preferred. Ability to read technical schematics accurately using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills in English to coordinate teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.
