Position located in Spokane, WAPOSITION SUMMARY
High-impact position with diverse and exciting projects to develop and design in an OEM . Looking for creative minds that can work on R D projects and develop solutions for unique product needs. The Control Systems Engineer IV designs, develops, and oversees all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. This position is also responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC -based hardware and software. Knowledge and experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLC and HMI platform are required. Fanuc robotics experience is desired. This is a collaborative role that works within a team environment. No direct reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop complex electrical engineering and functional controls system architecture and specifications with input from sales personnel, customers, service technicians, assembly technicians.
- Performs, plans, and schedules control systems development, including both hardware and software systems, for new/existing machines, options or configurations.
- Develops machine functional specifications in conjunction with Product Management and Marketing.
- Develops conceptual designs and recurring cost estimates.
