40 hours/week Shift hours: Mon - Fri; 08 AM to 05 PM Position Summary Seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Engineer to support electrical, automation, instrumentation, PLC, and process control systems across multiple industrial facilities. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintenance support, capital projects, commissioning, reliability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and support PLCs, instrumentation, automation, electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, and motor controls. Program and troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic; Allen-Bradley/Rockwell experience preferred. Support calibration, commissioning, startup, and validation activities. Support capital and maintenance projects from design through implementation. Read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation. Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors, vendors, and engineering groups. Identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and system standardization. Provide technical support and training to plant personnel. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Automation, Instrumentation, or related field. 5+ years of relevant industrial electrical/controls/automation experience. Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills with ladder logic. Experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and process controls. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in operating facilities. Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk, ControlLogix, or CompactLogix is highly preferred. Experience with HMI/SCADA, industrial networking, VFDs, MCCs, and commissioning is a plus.
