STL Staffing is hiring an Electrical Engineering Supervisor in Shawano to lead the electrical engineering team and drive innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. You'll oversee electrical engineering operations, build a high-performing team, support new product development, and keep projects on time, on budget, and to spec. What you'll do Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team, and set department goals and KPIs Plan, coordinate, and oversee all electrical engineering department activities and budgets. Review and approve electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and control system designs. Oversee electrical and controls engineering support for new product development, from concept through production. Ensure electrical designs and systems comply with

NEC, NFPA

70E, UL, and other applicable electrical codes and standards. Improve engineering processes using Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods. Partner with manufacturing on electrical system design, manufacturability, and production performance. Work with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Operations on customer electrical and technical requirements. Ensure compliance with DOT, FMVSS, EPA, and company safety policies, and support ISO audits. What we're looking for Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. 8+ years of electrical engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong background in electrical system design, industrial controls, or automation. Proven experience managing engineering teams and developing future leaders. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong project management, budgeting, and strategic planning skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, or industrial controls. Familiarity with

NEC, NFPA

70E, or UL electrical standards. Experience with

ISO 9001, IATF

16949, or similar quality management systems. Experience overseeing engineering support for custom manufacturing or OEM products. Knowledge of capital equipment, industrial manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries. Experience managing engineering software, CAD/ECAD systems, and product lifecycle processes.
