Job Description:
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Designer to support engineering design and packaging activities within a fast-paced product development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Creo-based modeling and drafting, along with experience in electromechanical systems, sheet metal PCB packaging, and engineering documentation control. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and effective collaboration with cross-functional engineering and customer teams. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and maintain 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using Creo Design electromechanical packaging solutions, with a focus on sheet metal and PCB integration Create and update engineering drawings in compliance with internal standards and specifications Manage design data, workflows, and documentation using Windchill Data Management system Ensure accurate revision control and release of engineering documentation Support engineering change processes and maintain configuration control Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality Respond to customer and internal design requests in a timely and efficient manner Manage multiple design tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Ensure compliance with product design standards and documentation requirements Required Qualifications Proven experience as an Electromechanical Designer or similar role Strong proficiency in Creo (modeling, drafting, and assembly design) Experience with Windchill or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and sheet metal/PCB packaging design Ability to interpret and produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications Strong multitasking and time management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-volume manufacturing or product development environment Knowledge of engineering change management processes Familiarity with documentation control systems and release processes Associate degree or technical training in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
