Residential Energy System Designer

What to Expect The Energy System Designer will report to the Energy Service Design Team Lead and is responsible for assessing and redesigning solar photovoltaic, battery storage, and solar roof tile systems for Tesla's residential clients throughout the U.S. using Tesla proprietary software. The position requires the ability to analyze a defective system through the Operations' teams comments and existing design documentations. The candidate will need to trade-off cost and electrical considerations in determining the best design solution for a customer system. The ability to be detail-oriented with projects is a must; the ideal candidate will be able to manage a large volume of projects while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
