Job Overview Metro Tech Electric Inc. is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and student‑focused Electrical Instructor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in the electrical construction field, proven experience teaching a formal electrical curriculum, and the ability to effectively engage and support adult learners. This role is responsible for instructing 2nd‑Year Apprentices in our Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Program , ensuring students gain the technical knowledge, safety awareness, and hands‑on skills required for success in the trade. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging instructional materials aligned with electrical construction standards and OSHA regulations Lead hands‑on training sessions to reinforce practical field skills Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment Collaborate with instructional staff to enhance curriculum, teaching methods, and student outcomes

Qualifications:

Prior teaching or training experience, preferably in adult education or apprenticeship programs Detailed knowledge of NCCER curriculum and standards Experience teaching within a DOL Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Program Ability to fabricate instructional materials and demonstrate practical electrical skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom‑management abilities Relevant certifications or degrees are preferred but not required Unlimited Electrical Journeyman Licenses Join us as an Electrical Instructor to make a meaningful impact by equipping students with essential technical skills needed for today's competitive job market!
