Description:

Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Technician to support its Neuromodulation Engineering Team. The technician will work closely with engineers on the design, prototyping, development, verification, validation, and testing of electronics for next-generation implantable and external neurostimulators.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, analyze, characterize, verify, and debug analog and digital circuitry. Create electrical schematics using CAD software such as OrCAD or Altium. Support designs involving antennas, matching circuitry, radios, and electrical connection topologies. Execute design verification testing and contribute to test plans and reports. Define engineering test environments and develop LabVIEW code. Operate or work with network analyzers, network signal generators, and power spectrum analyzers. Follow applicable quality policies, procedures, and quality-system requirements. Work closely with engineering teams throughout product development and testing activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of relevant technician experience. 2-year Associate Technical Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with RF subsystem hardware integration. Experience with verification and validation of Class II and Class III medical devices. Experience developing automated test benches. Knowledge of PCB design methodologies and CAD tools. Experience with MATLAB, C/C++, LabVIEW, and/or Python scripting. Familiarity with ISO 14708 and/or

IEC 60601.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment/Requirements:

On-site position; remote work is not available. Must follow Medtronic quality and safety procedures. Must be able to perform the physical requirements associated with the technician role, with reasonable accommodations where applicable. IND_
