About the Role Are you a detail-oriented, creative professional with a passion for design and technology integration in modern workspaces? Teladata is looking for a Low Voltage Designer to join our collaborative team. In this hybrid role, you'll combine technical drawing expertise with low-voltage design knowledge to help bring technology visions to life for some of Silicon Valley's most innovative companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving Data Centers , IT Infrastructure , Audiovisual Systems , Telecommunications , and Physical Security —all while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients in a supportive, flexible, and family-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Documentation Create accurate and detailed "For Construction" documents and conceptual layouts for AV, IT, security, and low-voltage systems Translate client requirements and architectural inputs into high-quality AutoCAD and Revit drawings Manage the setup, organization, and production of drawing packages in BIM 360 and Revit Maintain and improve CAD/Revit standards and templates to support project efficiency and consistency Utilize Bluebeam Studio for collaboration and redline tracking Develop close out documentation. Document Management Maintain and update a comprehensive document control system for all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs. Adhere to document naming conventions, version control protocols, and filing systems. Manage the distribution of updated documents to all relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties have access to current versions. Archive completed project documentation according to company policies and legal requirements. Review all incoming and outgoing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Conduct regular audits of project documentation to identify and address any gaps or inconsistencies. Ensure internal team members have completed final review before drawing issuance. Project Collaboration Participate in internal and client-facing meetings to review scope, schedule, and design objectives Work closely with Project Managers and consultants to ensure design intent and client expectations are met Assist in preparing budgets and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates based on designs Support site visits, close-out documentation, and as-built drawings as required Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented setting What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills 5-10 years of low voltage systems design (AV, IT, and/or Security) 5-10 years of hands-on experience producing drawings in AutoCAD and Revit (3D & MEP environments) Proficiency with BIM 360 and Bluebeam Familiarity with construction processes and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in collaborative environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills
RCDD , CTS , CTS-D, ASIS

Pay:
$125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
