Substation Design & Drafting:
Develop electric substation drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and control building layouts.Engineering Analysis & Calculations:
Perform substation design calculations and analysis such as voltage drop and conduit fill.Collaboration & Quality Assurance:
Work closely with peers to ensureaccurateand on-time delivery of electrical design that meets client and industry standards, specifications, and good engineering practicesField Support:
Providing on-site technical support forselectENERCON clients during construction and commissioning asrequired Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of3years of experience in Substationdesigning, with a primary focus on executing protection and control projects Familiarity with relay protection schemes Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD Willingness to enter energized electric substations with proper training and PPE Must be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provideaccurate deliverables, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders Must be proficient with typical office software including Microsoft Windows and Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel for client site visits and project meetings Preferred Qualifications Experience working in electric utility industry, preferably in fast-paced consulting environment 500kV substationdesignexperience Compensation Range USD $65,600.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
