Desired Background:

Current, active Texas SLPA license is mandatory (documentation required upon application) Previous school-based experience as a SLPA Experience working with middle and high school student populations highly valued Reliable personal transportation and confirmed comfort with the commute between both locations Must be able and willing to cover costs for initial fingerprinting/background check within the first few contract days Candidates must be on-site; remote/teletherapy is not available for this role

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate daily with on-site SLPs, educators, and support staff to optimize therapy interventions Maintain accurate and timely session documentation and progress reporting Adapt strategies to meet the needs of a diverse student body at both featured campuses Follow all district compliance standards and build positive rapport with campus teams
