Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking an Electrical Designer who will perform electrical design services on multi-discipline building design projects for commercial, higher education and government facilities of moderate to large scope. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g.
H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT
) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Compensation for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. If so, the actual salary range may vary from the estimate provided. General responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Preparation, technical accuracy and coordination of programming documents, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents as directed Performing various design services including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analyses, Calculations, System selection and layout for building design with minimal direction from supervising staff. Providing oversight and coordination of projects, and working with assigned design managers and project managers, to meet client's budget, contract fees, goals, objectives, and deadlines Coordinating and communicating all aspects of electrical design within multi-disciplinary teams as requested by the Design Manager or Project Engineer. Performing duties associated with the bidding process, including preparing addenda and amendments and opening and tabulating bids as directed Performing duties associated with the construction phase, including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings as directed Complying with the company's quality control practices and procedures
