Job Overview Join our team as an Independent Appliance Contractor and become a vital part of delivering exceptional appliance installation, repair, and maintenance services directly to customers. This role offers the flexibility of operating as an independent contractor while providing comprehensive appliance solutions that enhance everyday living. You will utilize your technical expertise, mechanical skills, and customer service abilities to ensure appliances are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards. Requirements Must Have your own Truck Must have Insurance HIC Licensed/plumbing licensed preferred Back Ground check required Responsibilities Perform appliance installations, repairs, and routine maintenance at customer locations with precision and professionalism Troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, electrical knowledge, and mechanical understanding to identify root causes quickly Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely Interpret technical diagrams such as schematics and ladder diagrams to guide repairs and installations Conduct plumbing, electrical work, and other mechanical tasks as required by each service call Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and parts used Operate company-provided vehicles responsibly while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout every interaction Skills Strong understanding of schematics, ladder use, electrical systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical components Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Experience with appliance repair and installation across various brands and models Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices in a field service setting Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and apply electrical experience effectively Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Familiarity with company vehicle operation and adherence to safety standards Ability to perform electrical work safely following industry best practices Mechanical knowledge combined with troubleshooting skills for complex appliance issues Experience working independently in a field service environment with minimal supervision Join us in delivering top-tier appliance solutions that improve everyday life for our customers. Pay:
$28.98 - $34.90 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
