A Senior Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer designs, specifies, develops, and tests analog/ power electronics for a wide array of applications, such as switched-mode power conversion, battery management circuitry, distributed power architectures, wireless power transfer, radiation hardened designs, motor controllers, low noise power conditioning for precision instrumentation, analog front ends, signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, precision feedback systems, and dc/dc conversion. The engineer develops the architecture, designs these circuits, performs simulations, implements the physical layout, verifies and tests designs. They also perform a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment. Applicant will be responsible for carrying out circuit simulations to verify custom spice models against component specifications. The engineer will collaborate closely with the part designer and model designers to verify and modify both as necessary.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities Optimizes system designs for reduced size, weight, and power. Designs new products and develops technical specifications for their production. Analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions and tests hardware conformance to specifications. Independently drives solutions to complex problems- develops requirements, proposes ways forward when customer requirements are unclear or incomplete, and adapts appropriately to changes in requirements.
