Raleigh to Charlotte, North Carolina | Field-Based Full-Time A leading critical power services provider is looking for an experienced UPS Technician to join its growing field service team. The ideal candidate will be based anywhere along the Raleigh to Charlotte corridor , providing good access to customer sites across the region. The Role Service, maintain and troubleshoot 3-phase UPS systems Perform UPS start-ups, commissioning and preventative maintenance Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimize customer downtime Work on battery systems, PDUs and static switches Install and maintain critical power and battery equipment Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation Provide technical support to customers Participate in emergency/on-call support when required Requirements 2-3+ years' hands-on experience with 3-phase UPS systems Strong AC/DC electrical knowledge Experience with UPS batteries and battery maintenance Multi-manufacturer UPS experience highly desirable Factory UPS training advantageous Comfortable with extensive regional travel, potentially up to 75% Valid driver's license Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends and overtime Package $85,000 - $110,000 base salary DOE Overtime and incentive opportunities Medical benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Industry training and development Career progression opportunities WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
