What You'll Do:

Support and improve electronic and electromechanical manufacturing processes, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT), through-hole assembly, reflow processes, hardware installation, cleaning, conformal coating, cable assembly, and box-build operations. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing, process, and production issues. Develop, qualify, document, and implement new manufacturing processes and improve existing processes to support new and existing products. Partner with internal and external new product development teams to support the development of reliable, cost-effective products designed for manufacturability and testability. Support product costing activities and assist with the preparation of manufacturing and quoting packages. Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to evaluate alternate electrical components and support component and commodity management. Identify, design, source, and validate manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and equipment. Lead technical projects focused on improving products, manufacturing processes, reliability, productivity, and cost. Conduct process capability assessments and establish effective controls for manufacturing processes. Support product and process development from early-stage engineering through validation and successful production launch. Provide technical guidance, training, and support to operators and technicians. Research and recommend new technologies and manufacturing methods that improve efficiency, reliability, and overall performance. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard work, PFMEAs, control plans, and other process documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, structured problem-solving, and other operational excellence activities. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, productivity, profitability, and operational performance. Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned engineering projects and improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Approximately 3-7 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting electronic manufacturing, PCBA production, electromechanical assembly, or related operations. Working knowledge of SMT and through-hole PCB assembly processes. Ability to interpret and create electronic schematics, assembly drawings, and fabrication documentation. Familiarity with printed circuit board manufacturing concepts, including Gerber files and CAM software. Basic CAD experience, such as SolidWorks or similar software. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize work based on changing business needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, production, suppliers, and customers. A hands-on approach and willingness to work closely with both office and manufacturing teams.
