Job Description

The Fleet Service Specialist is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, installation, and operational readiness of fleet vehicles, trucks, and trailers across multiple client locations. This role requires hands-on mechanical and technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments while ensuring safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily hands-on service and repair work on trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. Complete on-site installation, setup, and configuration of fleet-related equipment and systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in real time to minimize downtime. Conduct testing and system validation following installations and repairs. Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. Accurately complete service reports, installation documentation, and related records. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of service parts and materials. Provide professional on-site customer support and basic operational training as needed. Identify and communicate field-related risks, delays, or technical concerns to leadership. Support project timelines and installation throughput goals across assigned locations. Collaborate with Field Service Managers and program teams to improve execution and service delivery. Travel Expectations Travel required up to 75-100% of the time in a deployment-based field service environment. Frequent travel between regional and nationwide project locations. Extended stays near active job sites may be required, often lasting several weeks. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and accelerated schedules based on client and project demands.
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
