Overview:
Responsible for providing post-sales systems engineering to technical staff for design/build and RFP projects. Must have a good understanding of AV systems, a working knowledge of control systems and DSP's, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
Review RFP drawings and specs. Work with CAD team to meet drawing deliverable deadlines. Verify system functionality and identify design gaps. Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that company offers Send approved drawing package to PM and team. Maintain drawing updates throughout project as changes occur. Maintain regular communication with Project Managers and Field Supervisors regarding projects and drawings/design and address issues. Review Bill of Materials and release equipment for ordering Create network coordination / IP sheets for projects for PMs & field staff. Design new change order scope for assigned projects. Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree required, bachelors preferred 5 years working in an AV Engineer position in a post RFP position Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Working experience with BlueBeam Compensation $115K/yr - $125K/yr commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life Insurance, Domestic Coverage, Paid Family Leave, generous Paid Time Off, Commuter Benefit, 10 Paid Holidays, a 401k plan with a discretionary employer match and Company paid Group Term Life Insurance and Long Term Disability.
