Field Engineers are needed to support the deployment and optimization of equipment and systems across diverse industrial environments nationwide. Experience:

2-5 years in field engineering, manufacturing or related technical environments Core focus: On-site installation, system integration, troubleshooting and technical support What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Installing and configuring industrial equipment and control systems at customer sites Performing system integration, testing and commissioning to meet design and performance standards Troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions in the field Collaborating with engineering, operations and customer teams to resolve technical issues Documenting system configurations, test results and field modifications using AutoCAD and technical drawings Supporting equipment startup, optimization and training at customer locations Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and recommending system improvements Communicating technical findings and project status to internal teams and clients What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 2-5 years of hands-on field engineering, installation or technical support experience Proficiency with AutoCAD for reading and interpreting technical drawings and designs Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with mechanical, electrical or control systems Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment deployment or comparable field environments Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage time effectively Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have Certification in a relevant discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) Experience with PLC programming or control system commissioning Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols (OSHA, ISO) Familiarity with remote diagnostics or IoT-enabled equipment monitoring What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Direct involvement in deploying and optimizing systems that impact customer operations Hands-on technical work with diverse equipment and environments across the nation Potential for ongoing contract work with opportunities to extend based on performance Professional development through exposure to varied field applications and system designs Flexibility and autonomy in managing on-site technical challenges A competitive daily contract rate of $640-$880, based on experience and qualifications About Specialist Staffing Group We are a specialist staffing and recruitment partner focused on connecting technical professionals with high-impact contract and permanent opportunities.
