Smiles 4 A Lifetime is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. For more than 35 years, our practice has proudly cared for generations of patients. We are a family-oriented dental office built on long-standing patient relationships, exceptional care, and teamwork. Schedule One Sunday per month 8:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy Assess and document patients' periodontal and oral health Take necessary dental X-rays Review patients' medical and dental histories Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and recommended treatment Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation Follow all infection-control, sterilization, and safety protocols Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to provide comprehensive patient care Help create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient Qualifications Current Dental Hygienist license in good standing Current CPR certification Knowledge of periodontal care and preventive dentistry Experience using Dentrix Ascend is strongly preferred Excellent clinical, communication, and patient-education skills Dependable, professional, organized, and attentive to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit dental team Availability to work one Sunday per month from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with patients, is committed to delivering high-quality care, and understands the importance of building trust through education and compassionate communication.
