Design innovative products from concept through production Exciting projects centered around custom electrical circuit design Save Job About Our Client Our client designs and manufactures specialized testing equipment used to simulate weathering, UV exposure, and corrosion conditions across a variety of industries. Headquartered near Avon, Ohio, the company manufactures all products locally and has built a strong reputation for engineering excellence, quality, and innovation. With approximately 200 employees at its headquarters, they offer the stability of an established organization combined with the collaborative environment of a close-knit engineering team Job Description Design electrical subsystems for new and existing products Develop analog and digital circuit designs Design and test PCBs Create custom circuit designs to support product development initiatives Build, test, and evaluate prototypes Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations Support thermal design considerations during product development Conduct risk assessments and engineering evaluations Generate and manage ECNs Partner with production, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams to support product performance and customer requirements Support projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept through production release MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of electrical engineering experience; 8+ years preferred Experience with analog and digital circuit design Strong PCB design and prototyping experience Background in custom circuit design Experience performing failure analysis and troubleshooting Thermal design experience Hands-on product development and manufacturing experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented with a problem-solving and root cause analysis mindset Experience with three-phase power systems up to 400V is a plus Experience with lamp ballasts, UV lamps, or Xenon arc lamp technology is a plus What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 USD.
