Job Description:
As an AV Engineer at Almo you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver high-quality audiovisual solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with clients to analyze project requirements, managing the drafting process for projects of varying scales, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project deliverables. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with our vendor partners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Needs Analysis and Project Management:
Engage with clients to conduct thorough needs analysis for audiovisual projects.

Manage the drafting process for projects, coordinating efforts with multiple drafters and client representatives.

Collaborate with experienced Engineers and Senior AV Engineers for project review and feedback.
Drafting and Design:
Utilize computer-aided design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop AV system designs.

Create and revise drawings, including AV architectural requirements and signal flow diagrams.

Review and understand project scope of work and bill of materials to accompany AutoCAD drawings.

Assist in producing additional documentation, such as power draw charts, heat loads, and wire pull charts.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct final checks of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Manage a workload where at least 85% of tasks are project-related or "billable."
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with the project team on various AV projects.

Assist in other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management team.
Vendor Relations:
Help maintain and nurture meaningful relationships with vendor partners to stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and offerings.
Additional Responsibilities:
Willingly undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the organization to contribute to the overall success of the team and projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 3 years AV engineering experience and/or training
AVIXA CTS
certification is required. Candidates are required to obtain this certification within the first six months of employment. Familiarity with Auto
CAD 2013
equipment and relationship of CAD or CAM or newer versions is required, specifically: Experience with block creation and dynamic blocks a plus Experience with 3D room renderings a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
