TRAVELING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

with TEXTILE experience!!! 51 Concourse Way, Greer, SC 29650 Shift 6a-4pm Mon-Thurs Pay $30-$35/hour based on experience As a Field Service Technician you will need skills as a good communicator, and the mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems Extensive travel (80%) within a set geographical area. The services are provided on-site at our customer's facilities and via telephone if the situation permits Travel the country to customer locations to perform installation, diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of equipment Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone in a professional manner Perform field and software upgrades Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment Complete required paperwork on time (e.g., service reports, discrepancy reports, expense reports, etc.) on a timely basis Experience with PLC's is a must as well as industrial electrical experience. 1+ years of experience with technical troubleshooting Experience as field service in the machine tool industry a plus Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques.
